Acknowledgement of Country
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet, the Wurundjeri people of the Woiwurrung language group and the Kulin Nation. I pay my respects to Wurundjeri Elders past, present and emerging and honour their Ancestral Spirits with gratitude and respect.
I acknowledge their connection to land, sea and community and the rich knowledge of health and healing they have carried for thousands of generations. I recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. I apologise for the harm caused by ongoing colonisation and systems of oppression. I am committed to ongoing learning, listening and supporting First Nations peoples and honouring the wisdom they continue to share.
